Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile emoji. We use this to identify you within shared rooms.

Conversation data. We store the messages you and your collaborators send in TandemChat rooms. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Usage data. We collect anonymized analytics about how you use TandemChat, such as features used and session duration, to improve the product.

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve TandemChat. Specifically:

• To deliver the core collaborative planning experience
• To personalize your experience and remember your preferences
• To send you important updates about the service
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse
• To develop new features based on aggregated usage patterns

We do not train on your conversations. Your messages are processed by our AI to provide real-time assistance within your rooms. They are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models.

AI-generated suggestions and plans are created in real time and are not stored separately from your conversation history.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service (hosting, databases)
• AI model providers to process your conversations (under strict data processing agreements)
• Law enforcement when required by law

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. When you delete a room, all messages in that room are permanently removed within 30 days.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. We conduct regular security audits and maintain a responsible disclosure program.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access and export your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability
